Acceptable Use Policy
This policy protects HostIncharge customers, networks, infrastructure providers, and the wider internet from unlawful, harmful, or disruptive use.
Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to every user, account, server, application, network connection, and item of content using HostIncharge services. Account holders are responsible for authorised users and for taking reasonable steps to prevent compromise or misuse.
Unlawful and harmful activity
You may not use the services to violate law, court orders, or third-party rights; facilitate fraud or deception; distribute or solicit illegal material; exploit or endanger children; threaten violence; or promote activity that creates a credible risk of harm.
Security abuse
Prohibited activity includes unauthorised access, credential theft, phishing, malware, ransomware, botnets, command-and-control systems, deliberate vulnerability exploitation, evasion of security controls, and scanning or testing systems without documented authorisation.
Messaging and spam
You may not send unsolicited bulk messages, operate deceptive lead-generation or messaging systems, use purchased or harvested contact lists without lawful permission, falsify sender identity, or continue sending after a valid opt-out.
Network abuse
You may not launch or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, IP spoofing, route manipulation, open proxies intended for abuse, traffic amplification, excessive automated requests, or activity that degrades shared infrastructure or third-party networks.
Content and intellectual property
You may not store or distribute content that is unlawful, malicious, defamatory, privacy-invasive, or infringing. Valid notices concerning intellectual-property or other legal rights may be forwarded to the account holder and acted upon as required by law.
Resource integrity
You must stay within published resource limits and may not deliberately evade quotas, interfere with metering, or consume resources in a way that materially harms other users. We may request remediation or recommend a different plan for sustained abnormal use.
Reporting
Report suspected abuse to support@hostincharge.com with relevant IP addresses, domains, timestamps, time zone, logs, and a concise description. Do not send passwords, private keys, or unnecessary personal data.
Enforcement
We may investigate, rate-limit, isolate, suspend, or terminate affected services; preserve relevant records; and cooperate with lawful requests. We will consider severity, repetition, intent, customer response, risk, and legal obligations. Urgent threats may be acted on without prior notice.
Appeal
If you believe action was taken in error, contact support@hostincharge.com with the account, affected service, and supporting evidence. An appeal does not delay action needed to protect users, infrastructure, or legal compliance.
