Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains when VPS hosting payments may be refunded and how cancellations affect future billing.
Digital service provisioning
VPS services use computing, storage, IP, licensing, and network resources shortly after provisioning. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, charges for a provisioned and usable service are not refundable merely because the customer changed their mind or no longer needs the service.
Eligible refund situations
A refund may be approved for a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge, an order that HostIncharge cannot provision, or a material failure to provide the advertised service that HostIncharge cannot remedy within a reasonable period. Any more favourable written promise shown for a specific plan will apply.
Request window
Submit a refund request to support@hostincharge.com within seven calendar days of the relevant charge or provisioning failure. Include the account email, invoice or transaction reference, affected service, and reason. This request window does not limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Non-refundable amounts
Unless required by law, refunds do not cover consumed service periods, setup or migration work already completed, third-party licences or domain charges, payment-processor or currency-conversion charges, taxes already remitted, or accounts suspended for fraud, chargeback abuse, or Acceptable Use Policy violations.
Cancellation
You may choose not to renew or request cancellation through the dashboard or support process. Cancellation prevents the next renewal once processed. Service remains available until the end of the paid period unless immediate termination is requested or required for security, abuse, or legal reasons. Unused time is not normally refunded pro rata.
Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where practicable. HostIncharge will generally initiate an approved refund within seven to ten business days, but banks and payment providers may take additional time to complete it.
Disputes and chargebacks
Contact support before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate billing or provisioning issues. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restriction. Nothing in this policy prevents a lawful payment dispute or mandatory consumer remedy.
Consumer rights
This policy does not exclude remedies available for deficient, misdescribed, defective, or undelivered services under applicable consumer law.
